1910s Hustler Toy Corporation The Great American Game with tin litho playing surface and wood frame. This antique baseball game shows light to moderate wear, and abundant detail integrity. A moderately oxidized push button at right operates a functioning lever, which allows a results roller at top to spin. Comes with (9) brown player pegs and (6) red pegs, and extensive instructions are printed on the back.
1910s Hustler Toy Corporation Intercollegiate Football with tin litho playing surface and wood frame. Formatted similarly to the baseball game listed above, this ancient game also boasts a functioning operating button. Condition is pleasing with light to moderate wear, however the "ball" which was intended to slide across the raised bar over the gridiron, is broken in half, but appears to repairable. Accompanying is a box lid only, which shows considerable signs of attrition, including a 4" tear coming off the right edge.
1929 Bartholomae Roulette Base Ball Game with original factory box. The playing board is vibrant with slight wear on the carboard surface and moderate oxidation on the brass sliding scoring markers; and the fairly solid box shows moderate wear and soiling.
1930s J&S Toys Pinch Hitter pinball game, with easel stand and instructions on the back. Framed in gleaming chrome with a sporty fiberboard playing surface, this art deco treasure is outfitted with a wind-up keyhole to the left of third base, which operates a spinning basepaths tin wheel, which revolves when one of the five included ball bearings safely reaches base. Eagerly tested by one of our in-house technicians, this nicely preserved pinball game was found to be in supremely satisfying working order. Minor wear is noted, with all details presenting handsomely.
1935 Parker Brothers Tom Hamilton's Pigskin football board game in original factory box. Adorned with a classic box label with leatherhead ball carrier, this game comes with a folding playing surface board, which features the same label as the lid, a pad of "Chart-O-Graph" sheets, instructions card, deck of play result cards, twenty-five yellow player wood pegs, twenty-five red pegs, and a plastic football pin. The box is fairly solid, with moderate and soiling, and the components are all in excellent condition.
1930s Whitman Publishing Co. Big League Baseball Game with original factory box. The instructions printed under the lid detail use of four plastic wink discs, and a felt shooting pad. The one large disc pops the three smaller discs from a tabletop up onto the slotted cardboard playing field. Also included are ten red pegs, intended for scoring on the board at the bottom left corner. Most of the scoring holes are unpunched, suggesting this game was never used. The box is solid with light wear and moderate soiling, and the field and playing pieces are pristine.
1937 Whitman/A.E. Gustafson Big League Baseball Game with original factory box. The box is solid and pleasing, with bold colors and light-to-moderate wear, including a tape repair on the bottom left corner of the lid. Instructions are printed under the lid, and this game includes a cardboard playing field in excellent condition, four scoring pegs, and a pair of mismatched dice.
1930s Parker Brothers Peg Base Ball Game with original factory box. The box is solid with light to moderate wear, including a bit of surface paper loss at the top right corner, caused by removal of a sticker. Contents are a clean, vibrant cardboard playing field, a pair of dice with rolling cup, and twelve pristine player and scoring pegs, with six blue and six natural.
1930s Wolverine Pennant Winner Baseball Game with original factory box. This bat and ball game has a tin playing surface and a wood frame. Buttons on the side operate the pitching mechanism, which propels a plastic ball towards a spring-operated bat. Our happy tech cites this game as being in satisfactory working condition. The playing field shows moderate wear, and the box shows extensive wear, including water stains and tears. Also included are eight red and three black lead baseball players with peg bottoms, which all show moderate wear. The instructions are printed on a cardboard sheet under the field.
c.1959 E.E. Fairchild All-Fair Football with original factory box. The box lid is solid with light wear, however the box bottom tray is separated along the bottom and the side panels along one long edge and one short edge. Contents include a pristine cardboard folding playing field, a deck of play result cards, a moderately worn ball, and an amended instructions sheet, noting a 1958 rule change.
1960 Play-Rite Inc. Johnny Unitas Football Game with original factory box. Legendary quarterback Unitas is pictured in action on the lid, which shows moderate wear around the perimeter. Contents are in better to excellent condition with play outcome cards, heavy carboard scoreboard, two footballs, three down/quarter markers, a Crayola crayon, and a felt eraser pad for cleaning the scoreboard. Extensive instructions are printed under the lid.
