Description

With the "Great War" over, the world was working on getting back to normal. Here in the U.S., peace was on the minds of everyone, and numismatists in particular, which led to the creation of the Peace Dollar series, the last circulating US $1 coin. Get your piece of this celebratory pie, with this 1921-1935 Peace Dollar complete set of (24). Prized for its glorious design, this series features a lovely image of Lady Liberty on the obverse, while the reverse is adorned with a proud Bald Eagle perched on a mountain top, with an olive branch in its talons, as it faces the rising sun for a new day. Housed in a Dansco album, the coins in this set show light to moderate signs of wear.

Key dates are: 1921 (VF+), 1928 shows XF-AU details with deference to toning streaks on the obverse, and 1934-S (VG).

Balance range (33% XF to AU, 67% FN to VF) with: 1922, 1922-D, 1922-S, 1923, 1923-D, 1923-S, 1924, 1924-S, 1925, 1925-S, 1926, 1926-D, 1926-S, 1927, 1927-D, 1927-S, 1928-S, 1934, 1934-D, 1935, and 1935-S.
