During his determined crusade against organized crime, U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy made a cross-country trip in September of 1963. While making his return trip from Los Angeles to Washington, Kennedy granted an autograph for a fellow passenger. Aboard TWA Flight 60 from LA to DC, Kennedy signed the offered TWA Royal Ambassador ticket folder, with the personalization "For Mr. Grillo with Best Wishes Robert Kennedy". This sixty-year-old signature shows an ("8-9") degree of strength, and the folder retains abundant integrity. Accompanying are Grillo's passenger coupon receipt date stamped 9/28/63; a ticket envelope, and a baggage claim check. Obviously proud of this encounter, the original owner also saved an included LA newspaper clipping about the trip, with a photo of RFK, and content stating in part "Kennedy was officially mysterious on arrival.... at International Airport", while also citing the "Valachi hearing". Auction LOA from JSA.
