From the personal library of Wilt Chamberlain, comes this collection of (11) author-signed books. The lineup of authors includes world class athletes, a renowned entertainer, a prominent sportscaster, and others. Most of them have provided "To Wilt" inscriptions and notes. The majority are hardcover editions with original dust jackets, as noted below, though three books are softcover editions. Condition is generally better to excellent with minimal to moderate wear, and signature strength is very pleasing, averaging ("9-10"). No authentication due to time/cost restraints, however the signatures are resumed authentic.

John McKay signed "My Wide World" softcover book, stamped "Uncorrected Proof" on the front cover, shows moderate wear;

(4) Pearl Bailey signed hardcover books, all with dust jackets: 1.) "Duey's Tale" with "Pre Release Copy" written notation inside, signed as "To dearest Wilt, a "Duey", Love your sister Pearl"; 2.) "Pearl's Kitchen" signed as "Dear Wilt- I send you Lots of Love, Pearl"; 3.) "Talking to Myself" signed as "Dear Wilt- Love- Pearl"; 4.) "The Raw Pearl" signed as "Dear Wilt- God forever watches, Love Pearl" (dust jacket shows moderate wear); 

Byron Shewman signed softcover book "Volley Centennial", signed as "Not too many are legends in more than one sport. Hope you enjoy it. Byron"; 

Lynda Huey signed hardcover book "A Running Start" with dust jacket, signed as "To Wiltie- A special friend, a source of strength and subtle affection. A big loveable goof who barely lets his friend love him - (quietly, oh so quietly) I'll love him anyway! Linda Huey"; 

Peter Westbrook signed hardcover book "Harnessing Anger" with dust jacket, signed as "To Wilt, Hope all is well. Peter Westbrook";

Bob Hemenway signed softcover book "Zora Neale Thurston", signed as "For Wilt, A great Jayhawk, Bob Hemenway KY Chancellor 9/17/97"; 

Joseph Benti and Carol Henning dual-signed hardcover book "J. Power Buzzard" with dust jacket, signed as "To: Coach Sincerely Joseph Benti 10-73" and Carol Henning" (dust jacket shows moderate wear); 

Alan Lakein signed hardcover book "How to Get Control of Your Time and Your Life", signed as "Wilt Chamberlain, I'm timefully yours! Alan Lakein". 


Also present are: "How I Won a Million Dollars in Las Vegas" hardcover book with detached cover, content is in Oriental text; faux ivory dominoes set with case; "5 Weeks to Winning Bridge" paperback book with front cover absent, back cover detached, and several detached/chewed up pages; (2) handwritten pages of gaming instructions; and (2) handwritten index cards with gaming instructions.
