Recall the combatants from the world famous "Rumble in the Jungle" heavyweight championship fight, with this pair of boxing autographs. Heavy-hitting George Foreman was undefeated with a 40-0 record, and was made a heavy 4-1 favorite over Muhammad Ali for their 10/30/74 match in Zaire. Ali added to his legend as "The Greatest" with an 8th round KO of Foreman, at Stade du 20 Mai in Kinshasa. Nearly fifty years later, both of these heavyweights are regarded mega-popular boxing legends, and their autographs are essential for dedicated collectors.

Provided before the effects of Parkinson's disease inhibited his ability to sign resolutely, Ali's autograph is  a firm ("9") strength example with an "87" inscription, on an 8x10 illustration (NM-MT) by artist Don Sprague, that is LE numbered "46/500". Foreman's autograph shows ("8-9") potency on the title page of the 1995 book "By George", which reports in new condition, with its original dust jacket. Auction LOA from JSA.
