After an 8-season tenure in L.A. (including 2 batting crowns), Tommy Davis bounced around with 10 teams in 10 years. His 1970-71 stint with the A's was most productive as he batted .324 during the 1971 regular season and .375 in the ALCS. His white-leather, green-laced Spot-Bilt cleats exhibit substantial game wear with each tongue featuring a black-marker notation of "Davis" and a perforated size designation of "11 EEE." Sadly, Davis died earlier this year at the age of 83. Full LOA from J.T. Sports. Additional handwritten LOA from consignor reads, "In 1990 I bought a collection of game used equipment. The collection originated from New Jersey collector icon Barry Halper."
