Part of a bumper crop that included Mariano Rivera and Jorge Posada, Hall of Fame-bound shortstop Derek Jeter was an integral component in curtailing the Yankees’ franchise-long 14-year postseason drought. En route to 1996 Rookie of the Year accolades, Jeter clubbed his third career home run and his first-ever at Yankee Stadium as the Yanks clung to first place in a June 5 loss to Toronto. Encapsulated and Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, this full ticket was issued in the Bronx that night as Jeter cleared the Yankee Stadium fences for the first time and set precedent for his “Mr. November” heroics. One of two at its tier with only one graded higher, the crisp voucher features printed seating/event details, strong perforations and a stars-and-stripes themed “top hat” logo.
