Description

In the wake of the 9-11 attacks, Major League Baseball responded in the true American spirit and kept right on going. While the clubs adhered to precautionary measures and temporarily stopped play, the show went on and all scheduled games were played. Back in stride for the St. Louis Cardinals, 21-year-old rookie Albert Pujols was none the worse for the brief hiatus. In the September 21 game at Pittsburgh’s PNC Park, Pujols further cemented his Rookie of the Year plaudits as he broke a 4-4 deadlock with a 9th-inning grand slam, the first of his prolific career. Encapsulated and assessed “Authentic” by PSA, this full ticket was issued for that contest. The voucher features printed seating/event details and a color photo of the scenic ballpark.
