Description

Posting baseball’s best overall record during the 1970s, the Cincinnati Reds were powered by a lineup so potent that the club won two World Series tiles, four pennants and six division titles with only one 20-game winner! Part of the well-oiled machine, Hall of Fame catcher Johnny Bench won N.L. MVP honors in 1970 and 1972. This Hillerich & Bradsby (33-oz/35”) “R43” signature model bat was issued to Bench during that exact time span (1970-1972). The uncracked white ash weapon shows a few ball marks, although its use cannot be attributed to Bench. Full photo LOA from John Taube, PSA/DNA.
