Description

Dedicated ticket seekers will not want to pass on this 1952 National League season pass/schedule combo. Housed in their original presentation wallet these seldom offered souvenirs remain highly appealing. Issued to “Carew Tower Cincinnati, Ohio” the season pass rates a (VG) grade due to light creasing, though the sturdy stock and bold printing present better. Embossed in gold with “Compliments of Warren C. Giles President” the accompanying schedule booklet appears as though it has never been opened. More on our website.

The 4 x 2-3/4” pass reads in full as follows “Carew Tower Cincinnati, Ohio, This Season Pass is presented to you with the Compliments of The National League of Professional Baseball Clubs. On presentation at the “Press Gate” it will entitle the rightful owner to the courtesy of entrance to our eight ball parks for all regularly scheduled championship games. We hope you will find occasion to use it many times. Warren C. Giles President”.

The schedule booklet measures 4-1/4 x 2-1/2” and features pristine gilt edged pages. The cover has a tight spine and like-new surfaces with deference to a light surface crease on the back cover. The front cover is embossed in gold as follows “1952 National League Schedule Compliments of Warren C. Giles President”. The gold lettering is full with no discernible signs of wear.

The wallet measures 4-3/4 x 3-1/4”, opens to 4-3/4 x 6-1/2” and shows excellent gloss and clean surfaces with minimal traces of wear. The outside surfaces are blank, while the interior sections include a plastic window lower section showcasing the season pass and an upper section sleeve which houses the schedule book. This upper section is also embossed in gold with “Compliments of The National League Organized 1876”.
