Trying to re-capture the winning ways of yester-year, the Baltimore Orioles donned their bright-orange jerseys for a “Turn Back the Clock” matinee on July 18, 2001. En route to their fourth of a franchise-high 14 straight losing seasons, the Birds wore the orange pullover jerseys that they had worn for Sunday home games from 1975 to 1982, a span during which they owned the best record in baseball. The offered “Turn Back the Clock” jersey was worn by skipper Mike Hargrove. The orange knit pullover garment features “Orioles” sewn across the chest in black-on-white twill and “21” sewn to the back and left front in like fashion. Arched above the back number, “HARGROVE” is sewn in solid black twill. On the upper left front, Hargrove has signed in black marker ("7-8" strength). Black-and-white striped stretch ribbed knit lines the V-neck, while orange-white-and-black striped stretch ribbed knit lines the sleeve endings. Within the collar, a “Mitchell & Ness” label is accompanied by a size “3XL” fabric content tag. The left front tail is home to a “Mitchell & Ness” label and a felt strip tag with a chain stitched identifier reading “7-18-01.” An MLB Authentication hologram accompanies. COA from the Baltimore Orioles (for jersey ) and auction LOA from, JSA (for autograph).
