Description

Birds of a feather flock together with these (3) game-worn Baltimore Orioles batting helmets. The thick plastic shells are complete with interior padding, team logo decals and mandatory ear flaps. Included are (3) different styles: 1994; 1999-2008; and 2009-2011. Excellent game use is evident on all three! More on our website.

1994 Baltimore Orioles Game-Worn Batting Helmet: a black plastic shell with a left ear flap and an Oriole Bird logo decal adhered to the front center. The back is home to “ABC” and MLB silhouette logo 125th anniversary decals, as well as a “37” decal. The interior features padding lining the circumference, top of the crown, back and ear flap. A manufacturer’s decal denotes size “6-7/8.” Of note is the “37” decal, which suggest use by Glenn Davis (1991-1993). It appears as though an additional decal had been placed over the “37” and was since removed. Either Davis wore the helmet in 1993 and it remained with the club after his departure, or it was worn during spring training in 1994 by a player who did not make the opening day roster. Heavy use is evident with scuff marks throughout.

2000-2008 Baltimore Orioles Game-Worn Batting Helmet: a black plastic shell with a left ear flap and an Oriole Bird logo decal adhered to the front center. The back is home an MLB silhouette logo and number “3” decals. The interior features padding lining the circumference, top of the crown, back and ear flap. A manufacturer’s decal denotes size “7-5/8.” The numeral suggests use by Harold Baines, Larry Bigbie, Midre Cummings or Freddie Bynum. Heavy use is evident with scuff marks throughout.

2009-2011 Baltimore Orioles Game-Worn Batting Helmet: a black plastic shell with a right ear flap, an orange bill and an Oriole Bird logo decal adhered to the front center. The back is home to an MLB silhouette logo and “69” decals. The interior features padding lining the circumference, top of the crown, back and ear flap. A manufacturer’s decal denotes size “7-1/8.” Heavy use is evident with scuff marks throughout. This helmet was used during spring training, as no Orioles player has ever worn the number “69” during the regular season.
